Terms & conditions.

As you are welcomed to the Lotus Yoga Studio, you agree by continuing to access the studio or website, that you comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.  These terms and conditions govern the Lotus Yoga Studio's relationship with you ( the user or viewer) in relation to the website and studio.   The Lotus Yoga Studio reserves the right to make any changes or  updates to the terms and conditions and you agree that you periodically check the website for any changes.     

 

General Terms:

• The following terms applies for all classes, workshops or events at the Lotus Yoga Studio.

• Lotus Yoga Studio is not liable to refund any classes where you have arrived late, changed your mind or cancelled for any reason.

• Teachers are subject to change without notice.

• Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. 

• All classes shall commence on time and late entry will not be permitted. For security reasons the front door of the studio will be locked at the start of each class 

• The Lotus Yoga Studio is no way liable for any injury, loss or death resulting from attending classes at the studio as you willingly participate with full understanding and acceptance that there is a risk of personal injury, loss or death.  

• The Lotus Yoga Studio is not responsible for any of your personal belongings that you bring to the studio and  accepts no liability for any loss whatsoever including consequential loss suffered by you arising from any products and or services we have supplied.

Liability Waiver policy

By attending classes at the Lotus Yoga Studio, you understand that all reasonable care will be offered for your wellbeing and you accept full responsibility for yourself upon engaging in these classes and waive, release and forever discharge the Lotus Yoga Studio and teachers from all responsibilities or liability resulting or arising from injuries, death, damage or loss of personal property.  

• You acknowledge that you must adjust your practice according to your individual needs so that no injuries occur and  if you believe the conditions to be unsafe or if you experience fatigue, pain, dizziness or nausea, that you will cease participating immediately

• You will advise the Lotus Yoga Studio of any injuries or concerns prior to class commencing and acknowledge that you have sought advice from your physician prior to the commencement of undertaking these classes.

 

Purchase policy

• To book a class you must have either credits in your MindBody account or pay at the time of booking.

• Class passes and memberships exclude workshops or events.

• All passes and memberships are non-transferrable.

• All class passes are valid for a fixed length of time as stated at the time of purchase.

• If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within a reasonable time as stated at the time of booking, you will be charged for the class.  

• Class passes purchased upfront are non-refundable, non-transferrable and the Lotus Yoga Studio is not able to offer extensions or suspensions.

• Unlimited weekly class passes purchased on direct debit for a 6 or 12 month duration are able to be suspended for a period longer than 7 days and up to 30 days only and suspensions can only be offered twice during this duration.  Any requests for suspension must be made in writing by emailing info@lotusyogastudio.com.au

• Direct debit membership allows you to attend unlimited regular classes but excludes events or workshops.

• At the expiry of your minimum term, the direct debit will continue indefinitely until you advise the Lotus Yoga Studio that you wish to cancel your direct debit.

• You must ensure that there are sufficient funds available to cover the auto-debit as the Lotus Yoga Studio reserves the right to pass on any associated bank or institution fees.

• The Lotus Yoga Studio does not offer refunds on services or products for change of mind, injury or illness.

• All prices, products include GST.

• All prices are correct at the time of online publication and may be subject to increase from time to time and as such reasonable notice shall be given either on the website or by to email to existing students.
